ZIEGLER wins German Innovation Award 2021

ZIEGLER has won this year's German Innovation Award for three of its innovations. The winners were the new Z-Class, the Z-Cab AiR and the latest generation of Z-Control.

This is the second time that the Z-Class and the Z-Cab AiR have received an award. Both products have also won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021. Z-Control of the latest generation has already been nominated for the UX Design Awards in 2020.

About the award
The German Innovation Awards honor products and solutions across sectors, which differ from previous solutions mainly by being user-centered and offering added value. They do so because there are innovations in all sectors that shape the future and improve life. Sometimes you see them at first glance – but often not. The German Innovation Awards aim to change that. They make great achievements visible to a wide audience and ensure successful positioning in the market.


German Design Council – the organizer

19 HLF for the Dortmund Fire Department

Albert Ziegler GmbH has been awarded a contract by the City of Dortmund to deliver19 firefighting vehicles (HLF 20). The vehicles will be built on MAN all-wheel-drive chassis and are intended for use by the City of Dortmund’s volunteer fire departments.
