ZIEGLER wins contract for 69 LF 10 firefighting vehicles
Albert Ziegler GmbH has been awarded the contract to supply 69 LF 10 firefighting vehicles on MAN chassis as part of the first state procurement for firefighting vehicles in the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The LF 10 firefighting vehicle is a standardized firefighting vehicle in accordance with DIN 14530-5 and is one of the most versatile firefighting vehicles used by municipal fire departments. It is designed for a crew of nine and is primarily used for firefighting and simple technical assistance.
The basic scope of delivery for the LF 10 is uniformly defined, enabling standardized and economical production. The vehicles are equipped with the latest generation ALPAS and the latest Z-Control operating and control concept. At the same time, there is room for individual requirements from local authorities:
Equipment compartment 2 is deliberately left empty and can be equipped with customer-specific loading. In addition, there is the option of installing either a second roof box or storage for a sliding ladder on the left side of the roof.
This procurement concept combines efficient series production with consideration for special municipal requirements, offering local fire departments tailored added value.
The prototype of the vehicle is scheduled to be completed after just 13 months. The consistent focus on simple, user-friendly, and reliable technology supports fire departments in Baden-Württemberg both in training and in daily use.
