With a huge extinguishing agent volume of 17,000 liters of water and 2,040 liters of foam compound, the Z8 is ready for massive extinguishing attacks in an emergency and for the extreme requirements at one of the highest airports in the world.

With its exceptional performance and innovative technology, the Z8 sets new standards. The vehicle is equipped with two powerful traction motors that enable impressive acceleration and a top speed of 140 km/h – even under the most demanding climatic and geographical conditions.

Thanks to the proven ZIEGLER extinguishing technology, the Z8 ensures maximum efficiency in operations where every second counts. Lhasa-Gonggar Airport, which is located at an altitude of 3,570 meters above sea level is one of the most important transportation hubs in western China. With the delivery of the Z8, ZIEGLER is helping to further increase safety at this important location and raise the international standard in the field of airport fire protection technology.

“With the Z8 at Lhasa Airport, ZIEGLER is once again demonstrating its leading role in the development and provision of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Vehicles for the most demanding operational scenarios worldwide” says Fabian Schmidt, Product Manager ARFF at ZIEGLER.
