TLF in a different way – ZIEGLER delivers black firefighting vehicle to Switzerland

Usually, you don’t see a black firefighting vehicle on a daily basis.

Nevertheless, the Intercantonal Fire Brigade Training Center in Bahlsthal in Switzerland explicitly asks for that. The Intercantonal Fire Brigade Training Center not only provides its extensive training infrastructure to the firefighting instances of the cantons Solothurn, Basel-Landschaft, Basel-Stadt and to the course management of Jura, but also to the International Fire Academy, to the fire department coordination of Switzerland and to the Swiss firefighters association. The vehicle, which was delivered by ZIEGLER, shall serve as a training vehicle on site, especially for the many national and international tunnel trainings.

On site together with the partner Gallus Hautle AG the vehicle was conceptualized and manufactured according to the customer requirements. The Gallus Hautle AG is a family owned business based in Wittenbach and produces firefighting equipment for 50 years now. Many professional fire departments trust the PSA from Hautle AG. In the sector vehicles and extinguishing technology the range extends from the smallest TLF to standard tanker and Aircraft Firefighting and Rescue Vehicles. Thereby, Hautle also offers services in the service sector.

Built on a MAN TGM chassis with an all-wheel drive, an engine power of 320 HP, a water tank of 2,500 l as well with a foam tank of 200 l and the specific ZIEGLER features like ALPAS, Z-Control and the proven Z-Cab, the vehicle offers everything needed for a safe and succesful training.

Further technical data can be found in the official press release.
