ZIEGLER cancels participation at INTERSCHUTZ 2022

After numerous and intensive considerations, ZIEGLER Group has now decided not to participate at INTERSCHUTZ 2022.

Both the current economic and social situation as well as humanitarian effects of the Ukraine war played a role in this decision. Those effect the entire automotive and firefighting industry as well as the rescue organizations, whose entire commitment is required now. Also the rising number of Corona infections – which also lead to an increased illness rate in the company – were considered. Furthermore, due to the cancellation of other important manufacturers of the industry, ZIEGLER no longer sees the general conditions for an international world-leading trade fair given.

It is important for ZIEGLER to emphasize that the cancellation of INTERSCHUTZ was by no means taken lightly and without careful consideration – after all, ZIEGLER also has many new products and innovations to present this year. Even though ZIEGLER was still in a positive mood at the beginning of the year and was looking forward to INTERSCHUTZ, the recent worldwide events unfortunately leave ZIEGLER no other choice than to cancel the planned appearance at the trade fair.

ZIEGLER hopes that customers, partners, fire departments and other fair visitors can understand this decision due to the current situation. It is important to the company to continue to be a reliable partner for fire departments, to deliver vehicles as usual and to be there for customers with its full strength – this is where ZIEGLER will continue to lay the focus on.
