ZIEGLER delivers 500th portable pump Ultra Power 4 to the BBK

No crisis is like the other. Crises can arise anytime and anywhere - storms, floods or electricity blackouts make it clear that anyone of us can end up in an emergency situation.

The fact that the Civil Protection is therefore very important has become increasingly obvious in the recent years. For decades, Albert Ziegler GmbH in Giengen has been a constant and reliable supplier and thus a continuous part of this important institution.

In this context, on October 6th, 2022 the 500th portable fire pump Ultra Power 4 could be assured to be delivered after a successful quality test by the procurement office of the BMI to the BBK.

With the ZIEGLER Ultra Power 4, the German Civil Protection has the most powerful portable pump (1,920 l / min. at 3 m geod. suction head and 10 bar output pressure) currently available on the market. On the one hand, this enables the fire departments to pump out large quantities of water from flooded cellars, for example, and on the other hand to pump large quantities of water from rivers, streams and lakes to fight forest fires.

ZIEGLER has been the main supplier of pumps and portable fire pumps to the BBK for decades and will have handed over a total of 613 Ultra Power 4 portable fire pumps to the BBK by the end of the year.

„We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to the BMI procurement office for the excellent cooperation and the trust placed in us. The symbolic handover of the 500th Ultra Power 4 is another milestone in our cooperation.“

says Axel Pössnecker of Albert Ziegler GmbH.
