New generation of integrated Extinguishing technology by ZIEGLER

Presentation at INTERSCHUTZ 2026

Under the slogan #readywhenyouare, ZIEGLER will showcase its latest innovations for fire departments and emergency personnel at INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hanover, where it will occupy approximately 3,000 square meters of exhibition space. A central focus of the company’s exhibition will be innovative firefighting solutions designed for maximum efficiency, automation and intuitive operation.

With a total of 12 vehicles, state-of-the-art pumping and fire extinguishing systems as well as intelligently connected components, ZIEGLER demonstrates how complex fire extinguishing technology can be integrated into a seamless, user-friendly overall system.

A holistic systems approach to fire extinguishing technology
The focus is on the intelligent connection of all relevant components: the pump, proportioning system, nozzle and control system work together as an integrated system. The goal is to make operation as simple as possible, even under demanding conditions, while maximizing firefighting performance.
This systematic approach reduces the physical and mental strain on emergency personnel. At the same time, the clear structure of the user interfaces ensures that only truly relevant functions are displayed. All systems are consistently designed for safe operation – even when wearing gloves.

Z-Pump – a modular system with a built-in training mode
Z-Pump is a fully modular pump system that can be customized to meet a variety of requirements. Its modular design allows for flexible integration into different vehicle configurations.
An integrated training mode thanks to Z-Control enables realistic exercises without the use of water or foam agents. This allows training to be conducted efficiently and in a resource-efficient manner.
Despite its technical capabilities, the system is intentionally designed to be simple to operate and can be quickly mastered even without extensive prior knowledge.

Z-Foam Pro – a flexible blending system designed to meet modern requirements
With Z-Foam Pro, ZIEGLER introduces a new proportional dosing system designed for maximum flexibility and ease of use.
The system allows for customizable dosing rates and is compatible with various foam concentrates. Modern technologies such as CAFS systems can also be integrated.
An automatic flushing function reduces maintenance requirements and further simplifies operation. Thanks to its compact design, Z-Foam Pro can be flexibly integrated into various vehicle configurations

Z-Turret – a versatile system with intuitive controls
With the Z-Turret, ZIEGLER presents a flexible discharge system designed for a variety of operational scenarios. The turret can dispense water, foam or powder and can be fully integrated into the Z-Control system.
It can be operated both from inside the vehicle and externally. Control is particularly intuitive thanks to the use of a gaming controller, which enables precise yet easy-to-understand operation.

Z-Attack – new approaches in Firefighting Technology with the new Piercing Unit
With the ZIEGLER Z-Attack, ZIEGLER is expanding the capabilities of modern aircraft firefighting with a powerful and innovative solution.
Depending on the vehicle type, the HRET is available with a maximum extinguishing height of 17 or 20 meters and achieves flow rates of up to 6,000 liters per minute. Thanks to the flexible choice of extinguishing agents – water, foam or powder – the system is ideally suited for a wide variety of operational scenarios at airports.

For even more efficient interior attacks, the Z-Attack can be optionally equipped with the new Piercing Unit: With a targeted impact, this unit penetrates aircraft hulls up to 4 mm thick and delivers the extinguishing agent directly into the interior of the aircraft. An intuitive joystick control and pre-programmed auto-positions enable fast, precise and convenient operation during deployment.

New Ultra Power – highly automated pump operation
With the new Ultra Power, ZIEGLER introduces the next generation of modern portable pumps. The pump combines mechanical innovations with intelligent controls and automated functions.
An integrated centrifugal clutch enables exceptionally easy and safe starting. In combination with the Trokomat and an external fuel supply, pump operation is largely automated.
The intuitive Z-Control system enables exceptionally simple and convenient operation of the pump. At the same time, the system is continuously monitored and controlled. A status indicator clearly displays the current operating status at all times.

The system automatically responds to changing operating conditions such as pressure fluctuations or varying water output. This significantly reduces the operator’s workload, allowing them to focus more on the operation at hand. A single press of a button is all it takes to start the pump.

Z-Flux – the new generation of pressure hoses
For 135 years, ZIEGLER has been known for the highest level of expertise in hose manufacturing. With the new Z-Flux generation, ZIEGLER is consistently continuing this tradition, combining modern, innovative design with maximum performance. The new pressure hoses impress with their optimized weight, high durability and outstanding flexibility and robustness – developed to meet the highest demands of daily use.

Perfectly tailored system solutions for everyday use
The strength of ZIEGLER firefighting technology lies in the optimal coordination of all components. The interaction between the pump, proportioning system, nozzle and control system creates a high-performance integrated system that combines efficiency with ease of use. These systems are specifically designed to help emergency responders react more quickly, work with greater precision, and reduce the physical strain of their operations.
