5 Product variants
The versatile all-rounder
The ZIEGLER Pumper (H)LF combines firefighting and technical rescue in a single platform for municipal and supraregional operations – as a universal first responder from deployment to return. Well-thought-out ergonomics and equipment ensure the interaction of crew, equipment and firefighting technology, available as HLF 10 and HLF 20 with identical application profiles but different performance and equipment ranges.
Operating profile
The HLF covers typical municipal scenarios: municipal firefighting (indoor and outdoor operations), technical assistance in traffic and household accidents, storm operations, door openings, simple hazardous materials measures, and support for neighboring fire departments. Thanks to its modular loading, you can adapt the vehicle precisely to local risks.
Crew and ergonomics
The crew benefits from a clearly laid out cabin with short distances and a clear layout. Seats, holders, and communication devices are arranged in such a way that equipment can be prepared and coordination can take place efficiently even during the journey. Large, non-slip footboards, ergonomic handholds and illuminated access points speed up access to equipment – even in the dark and in bad weather.
Superstructure and storage space
The design is geared towards robust everyday usability: structured equipment compartments with a clear system, space for firefighting and rescue equipment, and mounts for common add-on modules (e.g., power generators, lighting, rescue timber, door opening and barrier equipment). The flexible shelving design allows for later adjustments without disrupting the basic logic.
Extinguishing technology
The pump, hose management, and lighting are available in an ideal combination for the initial attack. The system is designed for quick commissioning, safe pressure control, and reliable supply of water or, optionally, foam concentrate. Additional components such as rapid intervention equipment, light towers, or foam concentrate proportioning can be integrated if needed.
Safety and visibility
Uniform ambient and equipment compartment lighting, distinctive warning markings, and an optional light mast enhance visibility and tactical overview. Inside, restraint systems, secure equipment fastenings and clear weight distribution ensure a smooth, controlled ride – even fully loaded.
Operation and training
Intuitive controls, clear pictograms and consistent logic shorten training time. This reduces sources of error during operation and facilitates cooperation across fire departments. Digital support (e.g., checklists, vehicle diagnostics) and interfaces for existing systems are available on request.
Highlights
Versatility provides security
Our (H)LF impresses with its continuous design, extremely compact construction, and high ground clearance, both with single and twin tires. This enables a water fording capacity of up to 800 mm. Off paved roads, the vehicle's all-wheel drive chassis also impresses with its excellent off-road capabilities. The 14 t chassis has a wheelbase of approximately 3.9 m, making it very maneuverable even in tight spaces.
