ZIEGLER delivers 2 new TLF 4000 to Elsdorf
The fire department of Elsdorf in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis received two new TLF 4000 for their fire department.
Both vehicles – that are identical in construction – were delivered in March 2022 to the fire department of Elsdorf from Giengen/Brenz and are replacing a 36-year-old TLF 8/18 and a 27-year-old TLF 16/24.
The vehicles, that are based on a MAN TGM 18.320 chassis with a wheelbase of 4,200 mm, are equipped with a 4,000 l water and a 150 l foam tank. Additionally, they are equipped with an Alco roof turret as well as an electrically remote controlled ZIEGLER front turret VIPER. The roof turret can be used to dispense either water or foam, and the front turret can be used to dispense water.
Thanks to the smart and intuitive operation via Z-Control of the latest generation, the incorporation with the new vehicles was very easy.
