More safety for firefighters and the public

18 new firefighting vehicles for the Midden- and West-Brabant Safety Region

In July 2025, the Midden- and West-Brabant Safety Region (VR MWB) and Ziegler Brandweertechniek B.V. signed a contract for the delivery of a total of 18 new ZIEGLER firefighting vehicles, which will be put into service from 2027 onwards.

Rens de Jonge, Strategic Project Manager at VR MWB, explains: “Firefighting vehicles form the backbone of our operational capabilities. This new generation of vehicles is the result of an intensive process of collaboration, coordination, and innovation. With this investment, we are committed to reliability, safety, and future-proofing for our firefighters and residents.”

Rik Feijen, Account Manager at ZIEGLER, also expressed his delight: “Ziegler Brandweertechniek is proud to have supplied Safety Region Midden- en West-Brabant with modern, standard firefighting vehicles since 2008. This new agreement further expands this wonderful collaboration and we will be able to supply 18 new vehicles to the fire department of the Region Midden- en West-Brabant in 2027. The vehicles will be fully engineered and manufactured at our Winschoten location.”
