Equipment vehicle
In order to fulfill their diverse tasks, fire departments require more and more equipment and devices that cannot be stored in conventional firefighting and special vehicles. The logistics equipment vehicle now provides a vehicle that has a large cargo space and two equipment compartments for firefighting equipment. The vehicle can be loaded and unloaded quickly using a tail lift.
Various ZIEGLER-specific details guarantee efficient and safe operation.

Space miracle
The proportion of technical assistance operations continues to rise in comparison to firefighting. Fire departments must be conceptually prepared for this. ZIEGLER equipment vehicles offer the optimal solution here.
Operating profile
The wide range of possible applications extends from classic water transport over long distances to large-scale flood or storm operations. Our modular and flexible loading system is based on roll containers. This makes it possible to load the right device or equipment using a hydraulic tail lift and transport it safely on site, depending on the type of operation.
Crew and ergonomics
The crew benefits from a clearly laid out cabin with short distances and a clear spatial logic. Seats, holders and communication devices are arranged in such a way that equipment can be prepared and coordination can take place efficiently even during the journey. Large, non-slip footrests, ergonomic handholds and illuminated access points speed up equipment retrieval – even in darkness and bad weather. From crew cabins to group cabins, anything is possible.
Loading
There are no limits to the special requirements when loading the containers. Lighting units can be implemented, as can ventilation and extraction components, respiratory protection or hydraulic rescue equipment, submersible pumps, or hoses laid in bays.
Chassis
ZIEGLER equipment vehicles logistic can be built up either on chassis with a total weight of up to 7.49 tons or on chassis in the 16-ton class, each with both road and all-wheel drive.
Safety and visibility
Uniform ambient and equipment compartment lighting, distinctive warning markings and an optional light mast enhance visibility and tactical overview. Inside, restraint systems, secure equipment fastenings and clear weight distribution ensure a smooth, controlled ride – even under full load.
Operation and training
Intuitive controls, clear pictograms and consistent logic shorten training time. This reduces sources of error during operation and facilitates cooperation across fire departments. Digital support (e.g., checklists, vehicle diagnostics) and interfaces for existing systems are available on request.
