Z-Control has been an established player on the market for more than 15 years. Further development has made the system even more powerful. All vehicles and components from ZIEGLER have the same user interface, whether it is an MLF or a Z‑Class.

Since its introduction at INTERSCHUTZ in 2010, Z-Control has established itself as the leading control technology for firefighting vehicles. The system combines clarity, ergonomics and intuitive operation – even when wearing gloves. All functions can be controlled centrally, from pumps and light masts to turrets, supporting emergency personnel in every situation.
Overview and ergonomics
Z-Control offers a clear, logically structured user interface. Operators and team leaders can keep an eye on all important functions, while large buttons and ergonomic attachments enable safe and comfortable control – even when wearing gloves.
Uniform operating logic
All control panels within ZIEGLER Group – from Ultra Power to Z‑Class – have the same user interface. This reduces training time, minimizes sources of error and facilitates cooperation across fire departments.
Flexibility and modularity
The freely combinable modules can be used on standard vehicles, in the dashboard of the Z-Class, or as mobile control units. Functions can be added, changed, or exchanged at any time to adapt to new requirements.
Assistance and safety
Intelligent support systems for warnings, status displays and error messages make operation safer. Only functions that can be activated are displayed and light colors and animations provide additional guidance to the user.
Sustainability and networking
Z-Control can be connected with control centers, fire stations or the ZIEGLER Service Center. The integrated telematics function provides access to all relevant vehicle data, both now and in the future.
